Why AI, Why Now

A defining shift for long-term capital

AI is no longer a distant technology trend. It is becoming the infrastructure behind business, capital markets, healthcare, education, security, industry, and governance.

For family offices and long-term investors, AI is now a strategic literacy issue. Understanding AI is becoming necessary not only for investment decisions, but also for business succession, legacy planning, philanthropy, and risk management.

Many investors are facing a new kind of uncertainty: capital is flowing rapidly into AI, but the sector is complex, technical, and fast-moving. The line between real opportunity and hype is often unclear.

AI for Good Summit responds to this moment by creating a trusted platform for leaders to gain exposure, ask better questions, and understand how AI will shape the future of capital, business, and society.

Context

From BPF to AI for Good Summit

As the Business & Philanthropy Forum enters its 10th year, Alliance for Good is expanding the conversation from capital and purpose to capital, technology, and the future.

AI for Good Summit is a new platform launched by AFG, taking place the day after BPF, to help family offices, investors, business leaders, philanthropists, and next-generation principals understand the opportunities, risks, and responsibilities of artificial intelligence.

The Summit is designed to connect long-term capital with frontier technology — creating a space for clearer understanding, deeper exposure, and more responsible decision-making in the AI era.
